         潘毅  教授,博士生导师,南京大学副校长,南京大学国家863计划新材料MO源研究开发中心主任。1998年在南京大学化学系获得博士学位, 1989-1992年在英国帝国理工学院从事博士后研究工作。2001年入选江苏省青蓝工程学科带头人计划。2002年获得教育部跨世纪人才基金资助。2007年入选江苏省“333高层次人才培养工程”中青年科技领军人才计划。2001-2005年,担任南京大学化学化工学院院长; 2005年起,任江苏省化学化工学会副理事长,有机化学专业委员会主任;2005年起任全国半导体材料和设备标准化技术委员会气体分会主任委员。“十一五”期间,任国家863计划化工反映过程强化技术重点项目总体专家组副组长,担任国家02科技重大专项“极大规模集成电路用高k关键材料技术研究”项目首席科学家。长期从事有机化学和电子化学材料方面的研究工作,承担并完成了多项国家863计划、国家重大专项、国防预研项目及国际合作项目等重要研究任务,共同领导、组织和规划了MO源的产业化工作,成功实现了部分MO源产品的规模化生产。

Research Interests

Aminohalogenation reaction of olefin

Aminohalogenation and related reactions of functionalized olefins has become one of the most useful and attractive tools for constructing carbon-nitrogen and carbon-halogen bonds in tandem fashions at the same time. The resulting vicinal haloamines from these reactions belong to an important class of building blocks in both organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry.

In recent years, our group have developed several new catalytic aminohalogenation of a series of functionalized alkenes, including α,β-unsaturated carboxylic esters, α,β-unsaturated nitriles, α,β-unsaturated ketones, β-nitrostyrenes and so on. Also, several amides have been tired as nitrogen/halogen sources for aminohalogenation reaction of functionalized olefins, which usually focused on the N,N-dihalosulfonamide and the combination of sulfonamide/NCS or NBS, amides and carbamates. These aminohalogenation were further applied in the SN2 nucleophilic substitution, elimination reaction and Pd-catalyzed Heck reactions.

Synthesis of hafnium and zirconium precursor for high-k materials

High-k materials play an important role in the large scale integrated circuit, and hafnium and zirconium MO sources are key precursors for the preparation of high-k materials.

A number of organometallic hafnium and zirconium precursors have been designed and synthesized in this project. All of processes, including preparation, purification and filling, have been thoroughly studied. We have obtained the final qualified products. At the same time, we set up an impurity analysis method to guarantee the purity of the final hafnium and zirconium precursors. The obtained precursors have been submitted to the relative for the examination, and the results reveal that our MO sources meet industry standard.

Oxidative C(sp3)–H Bond activation of Cycloalkanes

Direct C(sp3)–H transformation of alkanes, which is a great challenge due to their low reactivity and the lack of a coordination site for the metal catalyst, has attracted many generations of organic chemists in recent years.

Recently, our group also developed metal-catalyzed decarboxylative alkenylation of cycloalkanes, dehydrogenation-olefination and esterification of C(sp3)–H bond of cycloalkanes with aromatic aldehydes via a radical process.
